Advocate for Public Education
Backwards...I am an avid family history researcher and I have learned it is good to look backwards to see and appreciate where you have come from, but you have to look forward to see where it is you need to go.
Looking at our public schools, I look back and see many good things that have occurred in Menomonee Falls that will allow us to achieve the following mission of the Menomonee Falls School District:
In partnership with family and community, the School
District of Menomonee Falls provides the best
personalized and comprehensive education so our
students will be prepared for, and positively contribute to, a profoundly different future.
Looking forward, we know we have a lot of work to do and the future is tomorrow, next week, and next year, not just ten or twenty years away. Public education is changing to meet the needs of what the future will demand.
Please vote April 3rd
and elect me to serve the students, families, and community of Menomonee Falls and be a part of continuing forward with what is good in our district, as well as implementing the necessary changes to improve
the education we are able to offer our children.
Tuesday is coming quickly. You can watch the Candidate Forum, sponsored by the PTSA Council, on the Falls Cable Access website at http://fallscable-wi.pegcentral.com/player.php?video=e40c0a1551dbab25dcae387bbe1fc358
I did make a few mistakes (I said my husband's employer is self-employed, where I meant self-insured), so I hope you can overlook where I misspoke and come away understanding that I understand all of the major issues facing our school district. I am attempting to run a non-partisan campaign, but some of my answers do reflect my political beliefs.
Please feel free to contact me directly for any questions.
